iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser
iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser is designed uniquely with an inverted bevel-in side cut angle to effortlessly lift the corneal flap in less than 10 seconds during the LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) procedure. The laser also enhances the adhesion of the post-operative flap and the biomechanical stability of the post-LASIK cornea. Additionally, it provides advanced options for surgeons, like the elliptical flap, by customizing the LASIK flap dimensions according to individual refractive errors and the corneal anatomy.
Inverted Bevel-In Side Cut:
The unique features of iFS Advanced Femtosecond Laser include:
- Greater rate of repetition
- High-resolution digital video microscope
- Tighter spot separation and lower energy
- Advanced user interface, keyboard and touch screen
Benefits of the high-resolution digital video microscope include:
- Captures high-resolution digital images throughout the flap-creation process
- Features touch-screen magnification function
- Opitcally projected, software controlled centration
